Today it is possible to use recycled plastic inpackages intended to be in contact with food, following a series ofspecifications and requisites laid down by law. Using recycled material inthese types of applications can have environmental and also economic benefitsfor such products. In this new scenario, it is necessary to know the lawregulating these applications, what requirements the suppliers must meet andwhat specifications customers may ask for.
