Italian group buys 51% stake in plastics recycler MyRemonoA subsidiary of Italian plant manufacturer Maire Tecnimont (Milan; www.mairetecnimont.com) has bought a majority stake in a new company, MyRemono, which is to produce high quality recycled plastics using CatC chemical reprocessing technology.

EUR 4.12 mn has been paid upfront, with the balance payable within 36 months, depending on meeting performance criteria.

Following successful trials at a CatC demonstration plant, MyRemono plans to build an inaugural first industrial facility with a processing capacity of up to 5,000 t/y. This is expected to start operations in the second half of 2025.
